The Trim23 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8329) is a vital tool for researchers studying Trim23, a protein essential for regulating immune responses and cell proliferation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting. By targeting the Trim23 protein, this antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze Trim23 expression in different cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in immunology and cancer research.Trim23, also known as tripartite motif-containing 23, is a crucial player in the immune system, involved in processes such as antiviral defense and control of cell growth.
Its role in regulating immune responses and cell proliferation makes it a promising target for research into diseases such as cancer, viral infections, and autoimmune disorders. By understanding the function of Trim23, researchers can develop new therapeutic approaches aimed at modulating immune responses and controlling cell proliferation in various disease contexts.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-280 of human TRIM23 (NP_001647.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. This protein is also a member of the ADP ribosylation factor family of guanine nucleotide-binding family of proteins. Its carboxy terminus contains an ADP-ribosylation factor domain and a guanine nucleotide binding site, while the amino terminus contains a GTPase activating protein domain which acts on the guanine nucleotide binding site. The protein localizes to lysosomes and the Golgi apparatus. It plays a role in the formation of intracellular transport vesicles, their movement from one compartment to another, and phopholipase D activation. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants for this gene have been described.
