The STUB1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB11751) offered by AssayGenie is a valuable tool for researchers studying STUB1, a key protein involved in protein degradation pathways. This antibody, generated using rabbit immunization, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards STUB1 in human samples, making it suitable for Western blot applications.STUB1, also known as CHIP, is a chaperone-dependent E3 ubiquitin ligase that plays a crucial role in regulating protein quality control and turnover. Dysregulation of STUB1 has been implicated in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer.
By targeting STUB1, researchers can gain insights into cellular protein degradation mechanisms and potentially develop novel therapeutic strategies. The STUB1 Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for investigating the role of STUB1 in protein degradation pathways, offering valuable insights into disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets. Its high specificity and reactivity make it a reliable choice for researchers conducting studies in the fields of molecular biology, biochemistry, and drug discovery.
Product Name:
STUB1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB11751
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-303 of human STUB1 (NP_005852.2).
This gene encodes a protein containing tetratricopeptide repeat and a U-box that functions as a ubiquitin ligase/cochaperone. The encoded protein binds to and ubiquitinates shock cognate 71 kDa protein (Hspa8) and DNA polymerase beta (Polb), among other targets. Mutations in this gene cause spinocerebellar ataxia, autosomal recessive 16. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. There is a pseudogene for this gene on chromosome 2.

10273
Storage Buffer:
Store at -20℃. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.Buffer: PBS with 0.01% thimerosal,50% glycerol,pH7.3.
