The RACGAP1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB5298) is a valuable tool for researchers studying RACGAP1, a protein involved in cell division and migration. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the RACGAP1 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of RACGAP1 in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in cell biology and cancer research.RACGAP1, also known as Rac GTPase-activating protein 1, plays a critical role in regulating the dynamics of the cytoskeleton during cell division and movement.
Dysregulation of RACGAP1 has been implicated in cancer progression and metastasis, making it a potential target for anti-cancer therapies. Studying the function of RACGAP1 can provide valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying these processes, ultimately leading to the development of novel treatments for cancer and other related diseases.
Product Name:
RGAP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB5298
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 353-632 of human RGAP1 (NP_001119576.1).
This gene encodes a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) that is a compoment of the centralspindlin complex. This protein binds activated forms of Rho GTPases and stimulates GTP hydrolysis, which results in negative regulation of Rho-mediated signals. This protein plays a regulatory role in cytokinesis, cell growth, and differentiation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. There is a pseudogene for this gene on chromosome 12.
