The PLAG1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16951) is a high-quality research tool designed for studying the PLAG1 protein, an important transcription factor involved in cell growth and differentiation. This antibody, raised in rabbits, shows strong reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the PLAG1 protein, researchers can easily detect and analyze its expression in various cell types, making it an ideal tool for investigations in cancer biology and developmental biology.PLAG1, also known as pleiomorphic adenoma gene 1, is a key player in regulating cell proliferation and differentiation, making it a target of interest in cancer research and developmental biology.
Dysregulation of PLAG1 has been linked to the development of various tumor types, including pleomorphic adenomas and lipoblastomas. Therefore, a better understanding of the role of PLAG1 is essential for developing targeted therapies and diagnostic tools for these conditions.Overall, the PLAG1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB16951) offers researchers a reliable and sensitive tool for studying the PLAG1 protein and its functions in cellular processes, providing valuable insights into cancer biology and developmental biology research.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 33-288 of human PLAG1 (NP_002646.2).
Pleomorphic adenoma gene 1 encodes a zinc finger protein with 2 putative nuclear localization signals. PLAG1, which is developmentally regulated, has been shown to be consistently rearranged in pleomorphic adenomas of the salivary glands. PLAG1 is activated by the reciprocal chromosomal translocations involving 8q12 in a subset of salivary gland pleomorphic adenomas. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.
