The YWHAZ Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13370) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the YWHAZ protein, a member of the 14-3-3 family of proteins that play a role in multiple cellular processes. This antibody is raised in rabbits and is highly reactive with human samples, making it ideal for Western blot applications. The YWHAZ protein is involved in the regulation of cell signaling pathways, including those that control cell growth, proliferation, and apoptosis.
Dysregulation of YWHAZ has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, making it an important target for further research. By using the YWHAZ Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can detect and analyze the YWHAZ protein in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its function and potential therapeutic applications. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies in molecular biology, cancer research, and signal transduction pathways.

A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 146-245 of human YWHAZ (NP_001129171.1).
This gene product belongs to the 14-3-3 family of proteins which mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals, and this protein is 99% identical to the mouse, rat and sheep orthologs. The encoded protein interacts with IRS1 protein, suggesting a role in regulating insulin sensitivity. Several transcript variants that differ in the 5' UTR but that encode the same protein have been identified for this gene.
