The PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Mouse CD38 Antibody (NIMR5) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CD38, a cell surface protein involved in immune regulation and cell signaling. This antibody, specifically designed for use in mouse samples, is raised against the CD38 protein and is validated for use in flow cytometry applications. Its high reactivity and specificity make it ideal for detecting and analyzing CD38 expression in various cell types, particularly in immunology and cancer research.CD38 is known for its role in immune regulation, cell adhesion, and signaling pathways, making it a key player in diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions.
Understanding the function of CD38 is crucial for developing targeted therapies that modulate immune responses and potentially treat these diseases. The PE-Cyanine7 Anti-Mouse CD38 Antibody (NIMR5) provides researchers with a reliable tool to investigate the role of CD38 in different biological contexts and advance our understanding of immune function and disease pathogenesis.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
CD38 is a 42 kD glycoprotein, also known as T10. It is an ADP-ribosyl hydrolase, expressed on B cells, NK cells, a subset of T cells, brain, muscle, and kidney. In mouse, CD38 expression is downregulated on germinal center B cells and plasma cells, whereas this is not the case for humans. By functioning as both a cyclase and a hydrolase, CD38 mediates lymphocyte activation, as well as adhesion and metabolism of cADPR and NAADP. CD31 is the ligand of CD38.
