The PE Anti-Human/Mouse IL-5 Antibody (TRFK5) is a vital tool for researchers studying interleukin-5 (IL-5), a cytokine involved in regulating immune responses, particularly in allergic inflammation and asthma. This antibody, suitable for flow cytometry applications, is produced using cutting-edge technology to ensure high specificity and sensitivity in detecting IL-5 in both human and mouse samples.IL-5 is a key mediator of eosinophil activation and differentiation, making it a crucial target in understanding and treating allergic and inflammatory conditions.
The PE Anti-Human/Mouse IL-5 Antibody allows for precise identification and quantification of IL-5-producing cells, aiding researchers in unraveling the complexities of immune responses and developing targeted therapies for related diseases.Whether investigating the role of IL-5 in asthma pathogenesis, studying immune cell dynamics in allergic reactions, or exploring potential therapeutic interventions, the PE Anti-Human/Mouse IL-5 Antibody (TRFK5) provides invaluable support for cutting-edge immunological research.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use. We suggest each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results [The recommended concentration is 0.1-1 μg/106 cells in 100 μL volume].

Background:
IL-5 is a homodimeric, disulphide-linked protein produced by T-cells. Monomeric human IL-5 is a 126 amino acid protein with a reported molecular weight of 26 kD for the homodimeric protein. Mouse and human IL-5 are approximately 70% identical. IL-5 has been shown to promote the growth of immature hematopoietic BFU-E progenitors, stimulate the activation and differentiation of eosinophils, and promote the generation of cytotoxic lymphocytes. Mouse IL-5 induces the differentiation and proliferation of pre-activated B-cells and stimulates the production and secretion of IgM and IgA by B-cells stimulated with bacterial endotoxin. The TRFK5 antibody can neutralize the bioactivity of natural or recombinant IL-5.
