The PDGFB Monoclonal Antibody (CAB22036) is a powerful tool for researchers studying PDGFB, a crucial growth factor involved in various cellular processes such as cell proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis. This monoclonal antibody, developed using cutting-edge technology, specifically targets PDGFB and is highly specific to human samples.PDGFB is a key player in regulating the growth and development of various tissues and organs, making it a valuable target for research in areas such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and fibrotic disorders. The PDGFB Monoclonal Antibody enables precise detection and analysis of PDGFB expression in different cell types, making it an essential tool for studies in cell biology, oncology, and vascular biology.
By understanding the role of PDGFB in disease progression and tissue remodeling, researchers can develop new therapeutic strategies to target PDGFB signaling pathways for the treatment of various diseases. The PDGFB Monoclonal Antibody is an invaluable asset for scientists looking to uncover the mechanisms underlying PDGFB-mediated pathologies and develop novel treatment options.

This gene encodes a member of the protein family comprised of both platelet-derived growth factors (PDGF) and vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGF). The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate platelet-derived growth factor subunit B, which can homodimerize, or alternatively, heterodimerize with the related platelet-derived growth factor subunit A. These proteins bind and activate PDGF receptor tyrosine kinases, which play a role in a wide range of developmental processes. Mutations in this gene are associated with meningioma. Reciprocal translocations between chromosomes 22 and 17, at sites where this gene and that for collagen type 1, alpha 1 are located, are associated with dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, a rare skin tumor. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
