The Neurotrophin-3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB3179) is a powerful tool for researchers studying neurotrophin-3 (NT-3), a member of the neurotrophin family essential for the development and function of the nervous system. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been extensively validated for use in Western blot applications.NT-3 is a growth factor that promotes the survival and differentiation of neurons, making it a key player in neural development, plasticity, and repair. Dysregulation of NT-3 signaling has been implicated in various neurological disorders, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions.
The Neurotrophin-3 Polyclonal Antibody enables precise detection and quantification of NT-3 levels in different cell types, providing valuable insights for research in neuroscience, neurology, and regenerative medicine.Researchers aiming to unravel the complex mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and nervous system injuries can benefit from the specific and reliable performance of this antibody. By investigating the role of NT-3 in various biological processes, this antibody opens up new possibilities for understanding and manipulating neuronal function for clinical applications.
Product Name:
NTF3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB3179
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 19-257 of human NTF3 (NP_002518.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the neurotrophin family, that controls survival and differentiation of mammalian neurons. This protein is closely related to both nerve growth factor and brain-derived neurotrophic factor. It may be involved in the maintenance of the adult nervous system, and may affect development of neurons in the embryo when it is expressed in human placenta. NTF3-deficient mice generated by gene targeting display severe movement defects of the limbs. The mature peptide of this protein is identical in all mammals examined including human, pig, rat and mouse.
