The Human CD45RO Monoclonal Antibody (PE-Cyanine7 Conjugated, AGEL1701) offered by AssayGenie is a powerful tool for researchers studying immune cell populations. This antibody specifically targets the CD45RO antigen, a marker for memory T cells in the human immune system. By conjugating Phycoerythrin (PE) with Cyanine7, this antibody enables efficient fluorescence-based detection and analysis of CD45RO-expressing cells in flow cytometry experiments.CD45RO is a crucial protein involved in adaptive immune responses, particularly memory T cell activation and proliferation. The presence of CD45RO can indicate a previous encounter with foreign antigens, highlighting the importance of memory T cells in long-lasting immunity.
By accurately detecting and quantifying CD45RO-positive cells, researchers can gain insights into the immune memory response and its role in various infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and vaccination strategies. The Human CD45RO Monoclonal Antibody (PE-Cyanine7 Conjugated, AGEL1701) from AssayGenie offers high specificity and sensitivity in identifying CD45RO-expressing cells, making it an indispensable tool for immunologists, cancer biologists, and researchers exploring immune system dynamics. This antibody opens new avenues for investigating memory T cell function and the immune response, ultimately contributing to advancements in therapeutic strategies and vaccine development.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD45RO is a 180 kD single chain membrane glycoprotein. It is a splice variant of tyrosine phosphatase CD45, lacking the A, B, and C determinants. The CD45RO isoform is expressed on activated and memory T cells, some B cell subsets, activated monocytes/macrophages, and granulocytes. CD45RO enhances both T cell receptor and B cell receptor signaling mediated activation. CD45 and its isoforms non-covalently associate with lymphocyte phosphatase-associated phosphoprotein (LPAP) on T and B lymphocytes. CD45 has been reported to be associated with several other cell surface antigens including CD1, CD2, CD3, and CD4. CD45 has also been reported to bind galectin-1 and CD22. CD45 isoform expression can change in response to cytokines.
