The HtrA2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB14877) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the HtrA2 protein, which is involved in apoptosis and cell survival pathways. This antibody, derived from rabbit hosts, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it ideal for Western blot applications.HtrA2, also known as high temperature requirement protein A2, is a mitochondrial serine protease that plays a crucial role in regulating cell death and survival. Dysregulation of HtrA2 has been linked to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer.
By targeting HtrA2 with this antibody, researchers can gain insights into its function and potential therapeutic implications in these disease contexts. With its ability to detect and analyze HtrA2 in different cell types, this polyclonal antibody is a valuable tool for investigations in cell biology, neuroscience, and cancer research. Understanding the role of HtrA2 in cellular processes is essential for developing targeted therapies that aim to modulate apoptosis and promote cell survival in disease settings.
Product Name:
HTRA2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB14877
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 334-458 of human HTRA2 (NP_037379.1).
This gene encodes a serine protease. The protein has been localized in the endoplasmic reticulum and interacts with an alternatively spliced form of mitogen-activated protein kinase 14. The protein has also been localized to the mitochondria with release to the cytosol following apoptotic stimulus. The protein is thought to induce apoptosis by binding the apoptosis inhibitory protein baculoviral IAP repeat-containing 4. Nuclear localization of this protein has also been observed. Alternate splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
