GenieFluor Red 780 Anti-Mouse CD279/PD-1 Antibody [29F.1A12]
The GenieFluor Red 780 Anti-Mouse CD279 (PD-1) Antibody (29F.1A12) is a cutting-edge tool for researchers delving into the intricate world of immune responses and T cell regulation. This high-quality antibody, specifically designed for use in mouse models, targets the PD-1 protein, a key player in immune checkpoint pathways that modulate T cell activation and tolerance.PD-1, also known as programmed cell death protein 1, is a crucial immune checkpoint receptor that plays a pivotal role in suppressing T cell activity and maintaining immune tolerance. Research on PD-1 and its interactions with ligands like PD-L1 has revolutionized our understanding of immune evasion mechanisms employed by cancer cells and other pathogens. By blocking PD-1 interactions, researchers aim to enhance anti-tumor immune responses and develop novel immunotherapies for cancer treatment. The GenieFluor Red 780 Anti-Mouse CD279 (PD-1) Antibody (29F.
1A12) boasts exceptional specificity and sensitivity, making it an invaluable tool for immunologists, oncologists, and researchers exploring immune checkpoint pathways. Validated for various immunological assays, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of PD-1 expression in diverse cell types and tissues, facilitating comprehensive studies in cancer immunotherapy, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disorders.Gain deeper insights into T cell regulation, immune checkpoint signaling, and therapeutic interventions by incorporating the GenieFluor Red 780 Anti-Mouse CD279 (PD-1) Antibody (29F.1A12) into your research arsenal today. Unlock the potential of immune checkpoint blockade and pave the way for innovative strategies in immunotherapy with this advanced antibody technology from Assay Genie.

Background:
CD279, also known as programmed death-1 (PD-1), is a 50-55 kD glycoprotein belonging to the CD28 family of the Ig superfamily. PD-1 is expressed on activated splenic T and B cells and thymocytes. It is induced on activated myeloid cells as well. PD-1 is involved in lymphocyte clonal selection and peripheral tolerance through binding its ligands, B7-H1 (PD-L1) and B7-DC (PD-L2). It has been reported that PD-1 and PD-L1 interactions are critical to positive selection and play a role in shaping the T cell repertoire. PD-L1 negative costimulation is essential for prolonged survival of intratesticular islet allografts.
