The GenieFluor 488 Anti-Mouse CD23 Antibody (B3B4, AGEL3329) is a powerful tool for research involving CD23, a cell surface molecule associated with immune regulation and B-cell function. This antibody, derived from mouse monoclonal sources, exhibits exceptional specificity and sensitivity in detecting CD23 in mouse samples, making it a reliable choice for various immunological assays and experiments.CD23, also known as Fc epsilon RII, plays a key role in the regulation of B-cell activation and IgE-mediated immune responses. Its involvement in modulating immune function and antibody production underscores its significance in studies related to allergy, autoimmunity, and infectious diseases.
By targeting CD23 with precision, researchers can gain insights into the complex mechanisms governing immune responses and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for conditions influenced by B-cell activity.Furthermore, the GenieFluor 488 Anti-Mouse CD23 Antibody offers versatility in its application, allowing for fluorescent immunostaining, flow cytometry, and other techniques that enable detailed analysis of CD23 expression and localization in various cell types and tissues. Its reliability and reproducibility make it an invaluable asset for immunologists, researchers, and scientists exploring the intricate interplay of immune molecules in health and disease.

Background:
CD23 is a 45 kD protein also known as low affinity IgE Fc receptor, FcεRII, BLAST-2, Ly-42, or B6. It is a member of the Ig family, expressed on conventional B (but not B-1) cells and follicular dendritic cells. CD23 responds to high levels of IgE by downregulating IgE secretion.
