The FRS3 Antibody (PAC026833) offered by Assay Genie is a high-quality polyclonal antibody designed for the study of FRS3, a crucial protein involved in various cellular processes. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is specifically reactive with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications, enabling accurate detection and analysis of the FRS3 protein.FRS3, also known as Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor Substrate 3, plays a key role in signaling pathways that regulate cell growth, differentiation, and survival.
Abnormalities in FRS3 have been implicated in diseases such as cancer, making it an important target for research in oncology and other fields.By using the FRS3 Antibody from Assay Genie, researchers can effectively study the function and expression of FRS3 in various cell types, leading to a better understanding of its role in disease pathogenesis and potential therapeutic interventions. This antibody is a valuable tool for scientists conducting studies in cancer biology, signal transduction, and drug discovery.
Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human cervical cancer using PACO26833 at dilution of 1:100.
Immunofluorescence staining of U251 cells with PACO26833 at 1:466, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

NCBI Summary:
This gene encodes a substrate for the fibroblast growth factor receptor. The encoded protein is found in the peripheral plasma membrane and links fibroblast growth factor receptor stimulation to activators of Ras. The encoded protein down-regulates extracellular regulated kinase 2 through direct binding. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2013]
