The FBLIM1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15850) is a valuable tool for researchers studying FBLIM1, a protein involved in cell adhesion and migration. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the FBLIM1 protein, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis in various cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in cell biology and cancer research.FBLIM1, also known as migfilin, plays a crucial role in cell adhesion dynamics and the regulation of cytoskeletal organization.
Its involvement in cell migration and invasion processes makes it a promising target for investigations into cancer progression and metastasis. By understanding the function of FBLIM1, researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying tumorigenesis and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for cancer treatment.Overall, the FBLIM1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15850) offers researchers a reliable tool for studying the role of FBLIM1 in cellular processes, with potential implications for cancer research and the development of targeted therapies.

This gene encodes a protein with an N-terminal filamin-binding domain, a central proline-rich domain, and, multiple C-terminal LIM domains. This protein localizes at cell junctions and may link cell adhesion structures to the actin cytoskeleton. This protein may be involved in the assembly and stabilization of actin-filaments and likely plays a role in modulating cell adhesion, cell morphology and cell motility. This protein also localizes to the nucleus and may affect cardiomyocyte differentiation after binding with the CSX/NKX2-5 transcription factor. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
