The FANCE Polyclonal Antibody (CAB8417) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the FANCE protein, a key component of the Fanconi Anemia (FA) pathway involved in DNA repair and maintenance. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting.FANCE is essential for the activation of the FA pathway, which plays a critical role in maintaining genomic stability and preventing DNA damage. Mutations in FANCE or other FA genes can lead to FA, a rare genetic disorder characterized by bone marrow failure and increased cancer susceptibility.
By targeting FANCE, researchers can gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying FA and potentially develop new therapeutic strategies for FA patients.Overall, the FANCE Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable tool for studying the function of FANCE in DNA repair processes, making it a valuable asset for research in genetics, genomics, and cancer biology.

The Fanconi anemia complementation group (FANC) currently includes FANCA, FANCB, FANCC, FANCD1 (also called BRCA2), FANCD2, FANCE, FANCF, FANCG, FANCI, FANCJ (also called BRIP1), FANCL, FANCM and FANCN (also called PALB2). The previously defined group FANCH is the same as FANCA. Fanconi anemia is a genetically heterogeneous recessive disorder characterized by cytogenetic instability, hypersensitivity to DNA crosslinking agents, increased chromosomal breakage, and defective DNA repair. The members of the Fanconi anemia complementation group do not share sequence similarity; they are related by their assembly into a common nuclear protein complex. This gene encodes the protein for complementation group E.
