The Dynamin-1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2902) is a vital tool for researchers studying the protein dynamin-1, which plays a key role in cellular processes such as endocytosis and membrane trafficking. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is specifically designed for use in Western blot applications and is highly reactive with human samples.Dynamin-1 is a GTPase enzyme that is involved in the scission of vesicles from membranes during endocytosis, making it essential for cellular trafficking and signaling. Dysregulation of dynamin-1 has been implicated in various diseases, including neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease.
By using the Dynamin-1 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can detect and analyze levels of dynamin-1 in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its function and potential roles in disease pathology. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies in neuroscience, cell biology, and related fields aimed at understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying cellular trafficking and signaling pathways.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 400-490 of human DNM1 (NP_004399.2).
This gene encodes a member of the dynamin subfamily of GTP-binding proteins. The encoded protein possesses unique mechanochemical properties used to tubulate and sever membranes, and is involved in clathrin-mediated endocytosis and other vesicular trafficking processes. Actin and other cytoskeletal proteins act as binding partners for the encoded protein, which can also self-assemble leading to stimulation of GTPase activity. More than sixty highly conserved copies of the 3' region of this gene are found elsewhere in the genome, particularly on chromosomes Y and 15. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
