The CELSR3 Polyclonal Antibody (PAC062783) is a crucial tool for researchers studying CELSR3, a member of the cadherin superfamily implicated in various cellular processes, particularly in neural development. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human and mouse samples, and has been validated for use in immunohistochemistry and Western blot applications. Its specificity in binding to the CELSR3 protein enables precise detection and analysis in a range of cell types, making it an essential reagent for investigations in neuroscience and developmental biology.CELSR3, also known as Flamingo homolog 3, plays a vital role in neuronal migration, axon guidance, and synapse formation in the developing brain.
Its involvement in these processes underscores its importance in neurodevelopmental disorders and neurological diseases. By targeting CELSR3, researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying neural circuit formation and function, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions in conditions such as autism, schizophrenia, and epilepsy.Investigating the function of CELSR3 with the PAC062783 antibody is crucial for advancing our understanding of brain development and neurological disorders, ultimately leading to new therapeutic strategies and treatments.

Recombinant Human Cadherin EGF LAG seven-pass G-type receptor 3 protein (514-718AA)
IHC image of PACO62783 diluted at 1:300 and staining in paraffin-embedded human liver cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.

NCBI Summary:
This gene belongs to the flamingo subfamily, which is included in the cadherin superfamily. The flamingo cadherins consist of nonclassic-type cadherins that do not interact with catenins. They are plasma membrane proteins containing seven epidermal growth factor-like repeats, nine cadherin domains and two laminin A G-type repeats in their ectodomain. They also have seven transmembrane domains, a characteristic feature of their subfamily. The encoded protein may be involved in the regulation of contact-dependent neurite growth and may play a role in tumor formation. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2013]
