The Anti-Phospho-STAT5A (S780) Antibody (CABP0139) is a critical tool for researchers studying the phosphorylation of STAT5A, a key transcription factor involved in cell signaling pathways. This rabbit polyclonal antibody is highly specific for the phosphorylated form of STAT5A at serine 780 and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the phosphorylated form of STAT5A, researchers can analyze and quantify STAT5A activation in various cell types, providing valuable insights into the regulation of cellular signaling processes.STAT5A activation plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. Dysregulation of STAT5A phosphorylation has been implicated in the pathogenesis of numerous diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions.
By studying the phosphorylation status of STAT5A, researchers can gain a better understanding of the mechanisms underlying these diseases and potentially develop novel therapeutic strategies targeting STAT5A signaling pathways.Overall, the Anti-Phospho-STAT5A (S780) Antibody (CABP0139) is a valuable tool for researchers interested in studying the role of STAT5A phosphorylation in cellular signaling and disease pathogenesis. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an essential reagent for studies in immunology, oncology, and other fields exploring the intricate signaling networks that govern cellular behavior.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the STAT family of transcription factors. In response to cytokines and growth factors, STAT family members are phosphorylated by the receptor associated kinases, and then form homo- or heterodimers that translocate to the cell nucleus where they act as transcription activators. This protein is activated by, and mediates the responses of many cell ligands, such as IL2, IL3, IL7 GM-CSF, erythropoietin, thrombopoietin, and different growth hormones. Activation of this protein in myeloma and lymphoma associated with a TEL/JAK2 gene fusion is independent of cell stimulus and has been shown to be essential for tumorigenesis. The mouse counterpart of this gene is found to induce the expression of BCL2L1/BCL-X(L), which suggests the antiapoptotic function of this gene in cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
