The Angiopoietin-1 (ANGPT1) Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15026) is a powerful tool for researchers studying angiogenesis and vascular development. This antibody is produced in rabbits and exhibits high reactivity with human samples, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. It has been thoroughly validated for use in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence assays, allowing for precise detection and visualization of the ANGPT1 protein in various experimental settings.ANGPT1 is a critical growth factor involved in the regulation of blood vessel formation and maintenance.
It plays a key role in promoting vascular stability and integrity by binding to its receptor, Tie2, and activating downstream signaling pathways. Dysregulation of ANGPT1 has been linked to various vascular disorders, including cardiovascular diseases and cancer. By studying the expression and function of ANGPT1 using this antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying these diseases and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for intervention.

This gene encodes a secreted glycoprotein that belongs to the angiopoietin family. Members of this family play important roles in vascular development and angiogenesis. All angiopoietins bind with similar affinity to an endothelial cell-specific tyrosine-protein kinase receptor. The protein encoded by this gene is a secreted glycoprotein that activates the receptor by inducing its tyrosine phosphorylation. It plays a critical role in mediating reciprocal interactions between the endothelium and surrounding matrix and mesenchyme and inhibits endothelial permeability. The protein also contributes to blood vessel maturation and stability, and may be involved in early development of the heart. Mutations in this gene are associated with hereditary angioedema.
