The AMHR2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6523) is a valuable tool for researchers studying AMHR2, a key protein involved in reproductive biology. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. It binds specifically to the AMHR2 protein, enabling precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types.AMHR2, also known as anti-Müllerian hormone receptor type 2, plays a crucial role in the regulation of reproductive processes, specifically in the development of male and female sex organs. Understanding the function and expression of AMHR2 is essential for studying conditions related to reproductive health, such as infertility, hormonal imbalances, and developmental disorders.
By using the AMHR2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6523), researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying reproductive biology and potentially discover new therapeutic targets for treating reproductive disorders. This antibody is a reliable tool for immunology and fertility research, enabling precise and accurate analysis of AMHR2 expression in a variety of experimental settings.

This gene encodes the receptor for the anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) which, in addition to testosterone, results in male sex differentiation. AMH and testosterone are produced in the testes by different cells and have different effects. Testosterone promotes the development of male genitalia while the binding of AMH to the encoded receptor prevents the development of the mullerian ducts into uterus and Fallopian tubes. Mutations in this gene are associated with persistent Mullerian duct syndrome type II. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
