Human IgG4-Fc Recombinant Protein (108 Ser/Pro)

SCN3B (sodium channel; voltage-gated; type III; beta ;human IgG1-Fc chimera) belongs to the sodium channel auxiliary subunit SCN3B family. It contains a single Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain. Voltage-gated sodium channels are transmembrane glycoprotein complexes made up of a large alpha subunit and one or more regulatory beta subunits. They are in charge of the creation and propagation of action potentials in neurons and muscles. The SCN3B gene codes for one member of the sodium channel beta subunit gene family and has an influence on the Sodium channel inactivation kinetics. Two alternatively spliced variants; encoding the same protein; have been identified. Brugada syndrome type 7 is caused by faults in SCN3B. A tachyarrhythmia characterized by right bundle branch block and ST segment elevation on an electrocardiogram. This condition can lead to the ventricles beating too rapidly, preventing blood from circulating freely throughout the body. If a person's heart stops beating (ventricular fibrillation) and they haven't been resuscitated within minutes, they will faint and could die. Human IgG4-Fc Recombinant Protein (108 Ser/Pro) is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
