The WDR35 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12824) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the WDR35 protein, a key player in cellular processes such as cilia formation and intraflagellar transport. This antibody, generated in rabbits, has high specificity for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the WDR35 protein, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential component for studies in cell biology and developmental biology.WDR35, also known as WDR35 ciliary protein, plays a crucial role in cilia assembly and function, making it a critical target for research related to ciliopathies and other cilia-related disorders.
Understanding the functions and interactions of WDR35 is essential for uncovering the mechanisms underlying these diseases and developing potential therapeutic interventions. The WDR35 Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a reliable tool to further investigate the roles of WDR35 in cellular processes and diseases related to cilia dysfunction.

This gene encodes a member of the WD repeat protein family. WD repeats are minimally conserved regions of approximately 40 amino acids typically bracketed by gly-his and trp-asp (GH-WD), which may facilitate formation of heterotrimeric or multiprotein complexes. Members of this family are involved in a variety of cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, signal transduction, apoptosis, and gene regulation. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene. Two patients with Sensenbrenner syndrome / cranioectodermal dysplasia (CED) were identified with mutations in this gene, consistent with a possible ciliary function.
