Description
IFNL2/IFNL3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB23437)
The IFNL2/IFNL3 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers studying interferon lambda proteins IFNL2 and IFNL3. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific in detecting IFNL2 and IFNL3 proteins in human samples. Validated for use in Western blot applications, this antibody facilitates the identification and analysis of IFNL2 and IFNL3 in various cell types.Interferon lambda proteins, particularly IFNL2 and IFNL3, are known for their role in antiviral immune responses and have shown potential therapeutic applications in viral infections and autoimmune diseases.
By targeting IFNL2 and IFNL3, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms of immune response modulation and develop novel therapeutic strategies for various diseases.Overall, the IFNL2/IFNL3 Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for scientists conducting research in immunology, virology, and therapeutic development, providing a clearer understanding of the roles of IFNL2 and IFNL3 in immune regulation and disease pathogenesis.

This gene encodes a cytokine distantly related to type I interferons and the IL-10 family. This gene, interleukin 28A (IL28A), and interleukin 29 (IL29) are three closely related cytokine genes that form a cytokine gene cluster on a chromosomal region mapped to 19q13. Expression of the cytokines encoded by the three genes can be induced by viral infection. All three cytokines have been shown to interact with a heterodimeric class II cytokine receptor that consists of interleukin 10 receptor, beta (IL10RB) and interleukin 28 receptor, alpha (IL28RA).
