Description
CREB1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB21362)
The CREB1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB10006) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CREB1, a transcription factor involved in various cellular processes including gene expression, cell differentiation, and neuronal plasticity. This antibody is produced by rabbits and is highly specific for detecting CREB1 in human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications.CREB1, or cAMP response element-binding protein 1, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression in response to cellular signals such as hormones, neurotransmitters, and growth factors. It is involved in diverse physiological processes, including learning and memory, circadian rhythms, and metabolism.
The ability to accurately detect and analyze CREB1 expression levels in different cell types makes this antibody a valuable tool for research in neuroscience, endocrinology, and cancer biology.Understanding the functions and regulatory mechanisms of CREB1 is essential for unraveling its role in various diseases, including neurological disorders, cancer, and metabolic disorders. The CREB1 Polyclonal Antibody provides researchers with a reliable means to study CREB1 expression and activity, facilitating further insights into its biological functions and potential therapeutic targets.

This gene encodes a transcription factor that is a member of the leucine zipper family of DNA binding proteins. This protein binds as a homodimer to the cAMP-responsive element, an octameric palindrome. The protein is phosphorylated by several protein kinases, and induces transcription of genes in response to hormonal stimulation of the cAMP pathway. Alternate splicing of this gene results in several transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
