The p60 CAF1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB5073) is a specialized antibody designed for research involving the p60 subunit of the Chromatin Assembly Factor 1 (CAF1) complex. This protein plays a crucial role in chromatin assembly and DNA replication processes, making it a key player in the regulation of gene expression and genome stability.Raised in rabbits, this monoclonal antibody is highly specific and sensitive for detecting p60 CAF1 in various cell types and tissues. It has been validated for use in Western blot applications, enabling researchers to accurately measure the levels of p60 CAF1 in their experimental samples.
The p60 CAF1 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB5073) is an essential tool for scientists studying chromatin dynamics, DNA replication, and gene regulation. By enabling the precise detection and analysis of p60 CAF1 protein levels, this antibody facilitates a deeper understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying these biological processes. Its high reactivity and specificity make it a valuable asset for investigations in the fields of molecular biology, genetics, and cancer research.

Chromatin assembly factor I (CAF-I) is required for the assembly of histone octamers onto newly-replicated DNA. CAF-I is composed of three protein subunits, p50, p60, and p150. The protein encoded by this gene corresponds to the p60 subunit and is required for chromatin assembly after replication. The encoded protein is differentially phosphorylated in a cell cycle-dependent manner. In addition, it is normally found in the nucleus except during mitosis, when it is released into the cytoplasm. This protein is a member of the WD-repeat HIR1 family and may also be involved in DNA repair.
