Description
CAMK2N2 Antibody (PACO63631)
The CAMK2N2 Antibody (PAC063631) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CAMK2N2, a protein that plays a role in regulating calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CAMKII) activity. This antibody, developed using high-quality materials, is specifically designed for use in various applications such as Western blot and immunohistochemistry.CAMK2N2 is known to interact with CAMKII, a key player in neuronal signaling and synaptic plasticity. By targeting CAMK2N2, researchers can gain insights into the regulation of CAMKII activity and its impact on cellular processes.
This antibody, validated for use in human samples, provides reliable detection and analysis of CAMK2N2 in research settings. With its ability to specifically bind to CAMK2N2, this antibody is a valuable asset for studies in neuroscience, cell signaling, and synaptic plasticity. Understanding the role of CAMK2N2 in CAMKII regulation can pave the way for developing therapeutic interventions targeting these pathways in neurological disorders and other conditions where CAMKII dysregulation is implicated.

Immunofluorescence staining of MCF-7 cells with PACO63631 at 1:50, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). |

NCBI Summary: | This gene encodes a protein that is highly similar to the rat CaM-KII inhibitory protein, an inhibitor of calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CAMKII). CAMKII regulates numerous physiological functions, including neuronal synaptic plasticity through the phosphorylation of alpha-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid-type glutamate (AMPA) receptors. Studies of the similar protein in rat suggest that this protein may function as a negative regulator of CaM-KII and may act to inhibit the phosphorylation of AMPA receptors.
