The ZAP70 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2195) is a valuable tool for research focusing on the ZAP70 protein, a key kinase involved in T cell receptor signaling. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and is optimized for Western blot applications. By binding specifically to ZAP70, researchers can accurately detect and analyze the protein in various cell types, making it an essential resource for studies in immunology and cancer research.ZAP70 plays a crucial role in T cell activation and function, making it a significant target for investigating immune responses and developing targeted therapies.
Dysregulation of ZAP70 activity has been linked to autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiency disorders, and certain types of leukemia, emphasizing the importance of understanding its function. The ZAP70 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2195) offers researchers a reliable tool for exploring the role of ZAP70 in health and disease, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions.

This gene encodes an enzyme belonging to the protein tyrosine kinase family, and it plays a role in T-cell development and lymphocyte activation. This enzyme, which is phosphorylated on tyrosine residues upon T-cell antigen receptor (TCR) stimulation, functions in the initial step of TCR-mediated signal transduction in combination with the Src family kinases, Lck and Fyn. This enzyme is also essential for thymocyte development. Mutations in this gene cause selective T-cell defect, a severe combined immunodeficiency disease characterized by a selective absence of CD8-positive T-cells. Two transcript variants that encode different isoforms have been found for this gene.
