The VASH2 Polyclonal Antibody (PACO17414) is a crucial tool for researchers studying vasohibin-2, a protein involved in regulating angiogenesis and tumor growth. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it an ideal choice for Western blot applications.Vasohibin-2, also known as VASH2, is a key player in angiogenesis, the process by which new blood vessels are formed. Dysregulation of angiogenesis is often associated with various diseases, including cancer, making VASH2 an attractive target for therapeutic intervention.
By using the VASH2 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can effectively analyze and detect VASH2 protein levels in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its role in cancer progression and angiogenesis.Overall, the VASH2 Polyclonal Antibody (PACO17414) is a valuable tool for research in the fields of oncology and vascular biology, offering researchers the opportunity to further understand the molecular mechanisms underlying angiogenesis and develop targeted therapies for cancer and other angiogenesis-related diseases.

Background:
Vasohibin-2, also known as VASH2, is a 355 amino acid, protein belonging to the Vasohibin family. Expressed in various embryonic organs, Vasohibin-2 can be detected during embryonic weeks six through twelve and is found in vessels of 20-week embryonic organs as well as in endothelial cells of neonatal large vessels. Induced by VEGF, Vasohibin-2 is an angiogenesis inhibitor and interferes with the proliferation, migration and network formation by endothelial cells.
Synonyms:
vasohibin 2
UniProt Protein Function:
VASH2: Angiogenesis inhibitor. Inhibits network formation by endothelial cells. Belongs to the vasohibin family. 5 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1q32.3Cellular Component: cytoplasmBiological Process: positive regulation of angiogenesis; positive regulation of endothelial cell proliferation
