The VAMP3 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7457) is a valuable tool for researchers studying vesicle-associated membrane protein 3 (VAMP3), a key protein involved in regulating membrane fusion events in cells. This antibody is produced in rabbits and exhibits high reactivity with human samples, making it ideal for Western blot applications.VAMP3 is known to play a crucial role in intracellular membrane trafficking and exocytosis, particularly in the context of neurotransmitter release and membrane recycling. By targeting VAMP3 with this antibody, researchers can effectively detect and analyze the protein in various cell types, allowing for a deeper understanding of its functional roles in cellular processes.
The implications of VAMP3 in cellular physiology and pathology make it a valuable target for research in fields such as neurobiology, endocrinology, and cell biology. By using the VAMP3 Polyclonal Antibody, scientists can further investigate the mechanisms underlying membrane fusion events and potentially identify novel therapeutic targets for conditions related to aberrant vesicle trafficking.

Synaptobrevins/VAMPs, syntaxins, and the 25-kD synaptosomal-associated protein are the main components of a protein complex involved in the docking and/or fusion of synaptic vesicles with the presynaptic membrane. This gene is a member of the vesicle-associated membrane protein (VAMP)/synaptobrevin family. Because of its high homology to other known VAMPs, its broad tissue distribution, and its subcellular localization, the protein encoded by this gene was shown to be the human equivalent of the rodent cellubrevin. In platelets the protein resides on a compartment that is not mobilized to the plasma membrane on calcium or thrombin stimulation.
