The USP31 Antibody (PACO62495) is a highly specific and reliable tool for research into the USP31 protein, a key player in the regulation of protein degradation and turnover in cells. This polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbits, has been extensively validated for use in Western blot applications and is particularly reactive with human samples.USP31 is a deubiquitinase enzyme that plays a crucial role in maintaining protein homeostasis by removing ubiquitin molecules from target proteins, thereby preventing their degradation through the proteasome pathway. Dysregulation of USP31 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a promising therapeutic target for drug development.
By using the USP31 Antibody (PACO62495), researchers can investigate the expression levels and localization of USP31 in different cell types and tissues, shedding light on its functions and potential roles in disease pathology. This antibody is a valuable tool for studies in cell biology, biochemistry, and drug discovery, providing insights that could lead to the development of novel treatments for a range of human diseases.

IHC image of PACO62495 diluted at 1:300 and staining in paraffin-embedded human adrenal gland tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
Background:
May recognize and hydrolyze the peptide bond at the C-terminal Gly of ubiquitin. Involved in the processing of poly-ubiquitin precursors as well as that of ubiquitinated proteins (By similarity).
