The UFD1L Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6783) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the UFD1L protein, which is involved in protein quality control and degradation pathways within the cell. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. The UFD1L protein is essential for the function of the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which is responsible for targeting and eliminating damaged or misfolded proteins. Dysregulation of this system has been implicated in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. By using the UFD1L Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can accurately detect and analyze UFD1L protein levels in different cell types, providing insights into the role of this protein in cellular processes.
Furthermore, understanding the function of UFD1L can lead to the development of novel therapeutic approaches targeting protein degradation pathways. By investigating the regulation of UFD1L, researchers can potentially uncover new strategies for treating diseases associated with protein misfolding and accumulation. The UFD1L Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable resource for advancing research in cell biology, molecular biology, and therapeutic development.
Product Name:
UFD1L Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB6783
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-307 of human UFD1L (NP_005650.2).
The protein encoded by this gene forms a complex with two other proteins, nuclear protein localization-4 and valosin-containing protein, and this complex is necessary for the degradation of ubiquitinated proteins. In addition, this complex controls the disassembly of the mitotic spindle and the formation of a closed nuclear envelope after mitosis. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Catch 22 syndrome as well as cardiac and craniofacial defects. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. A related pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 18.
