The UBR4 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12193) is a valuable tool for researchers interested in studying UBR4, a protein involved in protein degradation pathways and cell cycle regulation. This polyclonal antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the UBR4 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for investigations in the fields of cell biology and cancer research.UBR4, also known as ubiquitin protein ligase E3 component n-recognin 4, is a key player in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which regulates the degradation of damaged or unwanted proteins within cells. Dysregulation of UBR4 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic syndromes.
By studying the function and expression of UBR4, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying these conditions and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for intervention. The UBR4 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB12193) offers a reliable tool for researchers seeking to explore the role of UBR4 in cellular processes and disease pathogenesis. With its specificity and sensitivity in detecting UBR4 protein levels, this antibody can facilitate studies aimed at elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying various physiological and pathological conditions, paving the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies in the future.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 4884-5183 of human UBR4 (NP_065816.2).
The protein encoded by this gene is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that interacts with the retinoblastoma-associated protein in the nucleus and with calcium-bound calmodulin in the cytoplasm. The encoded protein appears to be a cytoskeletal component in the cytoplasm and part of the chromatin scaffold in the nucleus. In addition, this protein is a target of the human papillomavirus type 16 E7 oncoprotein.
