The Tubulin Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (CABC007) is a valuable tool for researchers studying tubulin, a key protein involved in cell division, intracellular transport, and cell structure. This antibody, raised in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting.Tubulin is essential for the formation of microtubules, which are vital for maintaining cell shape, facilitating cell movement, and serving as tracks for intracellular transport. Dysregulation of tubulin function has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and developmental abnormalities.
By targeting tubulin, researchers can gain insights into cellular processes and explore potential therapeutic interventions targeting tubulin-based pathways. The Tubulin Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody offers a reliable tool for detecting and analyzing tubulin expression in various cell types, making it a valuable asset for studies in cell biology, cancer research, and drug development.

Microtubules of the eukaryotic cytoskeleton perform essential and diverse functions and are composed of a heterodimer of alpha and beta tubulin. The genes encoding these microtubule constituents are part of the tubulin superfamily, which is composed of six distinct families. Genes from the alpha, beta and gamma tubulin families are found in all eukaryotes. The alpha and beta tubulins represent the major components of microtubules, while gamma tubulin plays a critical role in the nucleation of microtubule assembly. There are multiple alpha and beta tubulin genes and they are highly conserved among and between species. This gene encodes an alpha tubulin that is a highly conserved homolog of a rat testis-specific alpha tubulin. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
