The TRIM17 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15836) is a valuable tool for researchers studying TRIM17, a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family of proteins known for their roles in various cellular processes. This antibody, generated in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the TRIM17 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a range of cell types, making it an ideal choice for investigations in the fields of molecular biology and cancer research.
TRIM17 has been implicated in diverse cellular functions, including regulation of cell proliferation, apoptosis, and immune responses. Its involvement in these processes positions TRIM17 as a potential target for therapeutic interventions in conditions such as cancer and autoimmune diseases. By elucidating the mechanisms of TRIM17 action, researchers can uncover new insights into disease pathogenesis and potentially develop novel treatment strategies aimed at modulating its activity for therapeutic benefit.

Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 280-477 of human TRIM17 (NP_057186.1).
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to cytoplasmic bodies. The protein is expressed almost exclusively in the testis, but its function is unknown. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
