The TPP1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB5627) is a valuable tool for researchers studying TPP1, a key enzyme involved in telomere maintenance and cellular senescence. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to TPP1 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it essential for investigations in aging, cancer, and other diseases associated with telomere dysfunction.TPP1, also known as tripeptidyl-peptidase 1, plays a crucial role in telomere length regulation and protection, impacting cellular proliferation and DNA damage response mechanisms.
Dysregulation of TPP1 activity has been linked to accelerated aging, cancer progression, and other age-related disorders. Therefore, studying TPP1 function is vital for advancing our understanding of these conditions and developing targeted therapeutic interventions to address them.In conclusion, the TPP1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB5627) is a reliable resource for researchers interested in exploring the biological significance of TPP1 in various physiological and pathological contexts. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it a valuable asset for studies aiming to unravel the complexities of telomere biology and its implications for human health.

This gene encodes a member of the sedolisin family of serine proteases. The protease functions in the lysosome to cleave N-terminal tripeptides from substrates, and has weaker endopeptidase activity. It is synthesized as a catalytically-inactive enzyme which is activated and auto-proteolyzed upon acidification. Mutations in this gene result in late-infantile neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis, which is associated with the failure to degrade specific neuropeptides and a subunit of ATP synthase in the lysosome.
