The TPI1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB2579) is a crucial tool for researchers studying the protein TPI1, also known as Triosephosphate Isomerase 1. TPI1 is a key enzyme in glycolysis, a process essential for energy production in cells. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human TPI1 and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.TPI1 is involved in catalyzing the conversion of glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate to dihydroxyacetone phosphate, a critical step in glycolysis.
Dysregulation of TPI1 has been linked to various metabolic disorders and diseases, making it a target of interest for researchers in the fields of metabolism, biochemistry, and disease biology. The TPI1 Polyclonal Antibody enables precise detection and quantification of TPI1 levels in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its function and potential therapeutic applications.
Product Name:
TPI1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB2579
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-249 of human TPI1 (NP_000356.1).
This gene encodes an enzyme, consisting of two identical proteins, which catalyzes the isomerization of glyceraldehydes 3-phosphate (G3P) and dihydroxy-acetone phosphate (DHAP) in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis. Mutations in this gene are associated with triosephosphate isomerase deficiency. Pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 1, 4, 6 and 7. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Purification Method:
Affinity purification
Gene ID:
7167
Storage Buffer:
Store at -20℃. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.Buffer: PBS with 0.05% proclin300,50% glycerol,pH7.3.
