The TPI1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB15733) is a valuable tool for researchers studying the TPI1 protein, which is involved in glycolysis and plays a crucial role in energy production in cells. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blotting applications. By binding to the TPI1 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of TPI1 levels in various cell types, making it ideal for investigations in biochemistry and metabolic research.
TPI1, also known as triosephosphate isomerase, is essential for the conversion of the sugar glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate into dihydroxyacetone phosphate during glycolysis. Dysregulation of TPI1 has been implicated in metabolic disorders and cancer, making it a promising target for further study. Understanding the function of TPI1 is key to unraveling its role in cellular metabolism and developing targeted therapies for related diseases.
Product Name:
TPI1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
SKU:
CAB15733
Size:
20uL, 100uL
Isotype:
IgG
Host Species:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human,Mouse,Rat
Immunogen:
Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-249 of human TPI1 (NP_000356.1).
This gene encodes an enzyme, consisting of two identical proteins, which catalyzes the isomerization of glyceraldehydes 3-phosphate (G3P) and dihydroxy-acetone phosphate (DHAP) in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis. Mutations in this gene are associated with triosephosphate isomerase deficiency. Pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 1, 4, 6 and 7. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Purification Method:
Affinity purification
Gene ID:
7167
Storage Buffer:
Store at -20℃. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.Buffer: PBS with 0.01% thimerosal,50% glycerol,pH7.3.
