The TNNT2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7937) is a valuable tool for researchers studying cardiac troponin T (cTnT) isoform 2, a protein found in cardiac muscle tissue. This antibody, produced in rabbits, specifically targets TNNT2 and is highly reactive with human samples. Validated for use in Western blot applications, it allows for the detection and analysis of TNNT2 in various cell types, making it ideal for cardiovascular research and diagnostics.TNNT2, a key component of the troponin complex in striated muscle, is involved in regulating muscle contraction and relaxation. Mutations in TNNT2 have been associated with various cardiac conditions, making it a crucial target for understanding cardiac function and disease.
By studying TNNT2 with this antibody, researchers can gain insights into cardiac physiology and potentially develop new therapies for heart-related disorders. In conclusion, the TNNT2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB7937) is a reliable tool for investigating the role of TNNT2 in cardiac muscle function and pathology. Its specificity, sensitivity, and versatility in research applications make it a valuable resource for cardiovascular researchers and clinicians alike.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-100 of human Troponin I2 (Troponin I2 (TNNI2)) (NP_003273.1).
This gene encodes a fast-twitch skeletal muscle protein, a member of the troponin I gene family, and a component of the troponin complex including troponin T, troponin C and troponin I subunits. The troponin complex, along with tropomyosin, is responsible for the calcium-dependent regulation of striated muscle contraction. Mouse studies show that this component is also present in vascular smooth muscle and may play a role in regulation of smooth muscle function. In addition to muscle tissues, this protein is found in corneal epithelium, cartilage where it is an inhibitor of angiogenesis to inhibit tumor growth and metastasis, and mammary gland where it functions as a co-activator of estrogen receptor-related receptor alpha. This protein also suppresses tumor growth in human ovarian carcinoma. Mutations in this gene cause myopathy and distal arthrogryposis type 2B. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
