The TNNC1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1927) is a valuable tool for researchers studying TNNC1, a protein involved in muscle function and regulation. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blot analysis. By targeting the TNNC1 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis of TNNC1 expression in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in muscle biology and disease research.TNNC1, also known as troponin C, is a key component of the troponin complex, which plays a critical role in regulating muscle contraction.
Dysregulation of TNNC1 has been linked to muscle disorders, such as cardiomyopathies and skeletal muscle diseases, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention. By elucidating the function and role of TNNC1 in muscle physiology, researchers can gain insights into potential treatment strategies for muscle-related conditions.Overall, the TNNC1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1927) offers researchers a reliable and accurate tool for investigating the function and regulation of TNNC1 in muscle biology, paving the way for advancements in the understanding and treatment of muscle disorders.

Troponin is a central regulatory protein of striated muscle contraction, and together with tropomyosin, is located on the actin filament. Troponin consists of 3 subunits: TnI, which is the inhibitor of actomyosin ATPase; TnT, which contains the binding site for tropomyosin; and TnC, the protein encoded by this gene. The binding of calcium to TnC abolishes the inhibitory action of TnI, thus allowing the interaction of actin with myosin, the hydrolysis of ATP, and the generation of tension. Mutations in this gene are associated with cardiomyopathy dilated type 1Z.
