The TNK1 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for research involving TNK1, a protein kinase that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways related to cancer and inflammation. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications, enabling researchers to detect and analyze TNK1 protein levels in various cell types.TNK1, also known as tyrosine kinase non-receptor 1, is involved in regulating cell growth, differentiation, and survival, making it a target of interest in cancer research. Its overexpression has been linked to tumor progression and metastasis, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target for cancer treatment.
Additionally, TNK1 has been implicated in inflammatory signaling pathways, suggesting its role in immune response modulation.By using the TNK1 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the function and regulation of TNK1 in normal and disease states, paving the way for the development of novel targeted therapies for cancer and inflammatory conditions. This antibody is an essential tool for studies in molecular biology, oncology, and immunology, offering reliable and specific detection of TNK1 protein expression.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the tyrosine protein kinase family. Tyrosine protein kinases are important regulators of intracellular signal transduction pathways, mediating cellular proliferation, survival, and development. This gene is highly expressed in fetal tissues and at lower levels in few adult tissues, thus may function in signaling pathways utilized broadly during fetal development, and more selectively in adult tissues. It plays a negative regulatory role in the Ras-Raf1-MAPK pathway, and knockout mice have been shown to develop spontaneous tumors, suggesting a role as a tumor suppressor gene. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
