The TNFSF13B Polyclonal Antibody (CAB5858) is a valuable tool for researchers studying TNFSF13B, a member of the TNF superfamily that plays a critical role in immune regulation and inflammation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.TNFSF13B, also known as B cell-activating factor (BAFF), is involved in the activation and proliferation of B cells, making it a key player in the immune response. Dysregulation of TNFSF13B has been linked to various autoimmune diseases and cancer, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention.
By using the TNFSF13B Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can effectively detect and analyze TNFSF13B protein levels in a variety of cell types, providing valuable insights into its function and potential therapeutic applications. This antibody is an essential tool for studies in immunology, cancer research, and autoimmune disorders, helping to advance our understanding of TNFSF13B and its role in disease pathogenesis.

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This cytokine is a ligand for receptors TNFRSF13B/TACI, TNFRSF17/BCMA, and TNFRSF13C/BAFFR. This cytokine is expressed in B cell lineage cells, and acts as a potent B cell activator. It has been also shown to play an important role in the proliferation and differentiation of B cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
