The TNFRSF13C Polyclonal Antibody (CAB14299) is a valuable tool for research involving TNFRSF13C, a cell surface receptor known for its role in immune regulation and B-cell development. This antibody, generated in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the TNFRSF13C protein, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis in various cell types, making it an essential component for studies in immunology and cancer research.TNFRSF13C, also known as BAFF-R, is a crucial receptor in the B-cell activation process and is involved in promoting B-cell survival and proliferation.
Understanding the functions and interactions of TNFRSF13C is essential for unraveling the mechanisms underlying diseases related to B-cell dysregulation, such as autoimmune disorders and B-cell malignancies. The TNFRSF13C Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for researchers aiming to explore the role of TNFRSF13C in health and disease, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions targeting this receptor.

B cell-activating factor (BAFF) enhances B-cell survival in vitro and is a regulator of the peripheral B-cell population. Overexpression of Baff in mice results in mature B-cell hyperplasia and symptoms of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Also, some SLE patients have increased levels of BAFF in serum. Therefore, it has been proposed that abnormally high levels of BAFF may contribute to the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases by enhancing the survival of autoreactive B cells. The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for BAFF and is a type III transmembrane protein containing a single extracellular cysteine-rich domain. It is thought that this receptor is the principal receptor required for BAFF-mediated mature B-cell survival.
