The TNFRSF11A Polyclonal Antibody (CAB13382) is a valuable tool for research involving TNFRSF11A, a cell surface receptor known as receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-B ligand (RANKL). This antibody is raised in rabbits and is highly reactive with human samples, making it ideal for use in various research applications, including Western blotting.TNFRSF11A plays a critical role in the regulation of osteoclast differentiation and activation, making it a key target for studies in bone biology, osteoporosis, and other bone-related disorders. By targeting TNFRSF11A, researchers can gain insight into the mechanisms underlying bone remodeling and the potential development of new therapeutic interventions for bone diseases.
The TNFRSF11A Polyclonal Antibody specifically binds to the TNFRSF11A protein, allowing for the detection and analysis of TNFRSF11A expression in different cell types. Its high reactivity and specificity make it a valuable tool for scientists working in the fields of cell biology, immunology, and bone research. By studying TNFRSF11A, researchers can further understand its role in various physiological and pathological processes, ultimately leading to the development of new treatments for bone-related conditions.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptors can interact with various TRAF family proteins, through which this receptor induces the activation of NF-kappa B and MAPK8/JNK. This receptor and its ligand are important regulators of the interaction between T cells and dendritic cells. This receptor is also an essential mediator for osteoclast and lymph node development. Mutations at this locus have been associated with familial expansile osteolysis, autosomal recessive osteopetrosis, and Paget disease of bone. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this locus.
