The TNFRSF10B Polyclonal Antibody (CAB1236) is specifically designed for research involving TNFRSF10B, a cell surface receptor that plays a key role in regulating apoptosis (cell death) in various cell types. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly reactive with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. TNFRSF10B, also known as Death receptor 5 (DR5) or TRAIL receptor 2, is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. It has been implicated in the induction of apoptosis in tumor cells, making it a potential therapeutic target for cancer research. By binding to TNFRSF10B, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of this important protein in different cell types.
The role of TNFRSF10B in the regulation of cell death pathways makes it a key player in cancer biology and potential drug resistance. Research into the mechanisms of TNFRSF10B signaling can provide valuable insights into the development of targeted cancer therapies. The TNFRSF10B Polyclonal Antibody is essential for studying the function and expression of TNFRSF10B in various cellular contexts, making it a valuable tool for researchers in the fields of oncology and cell biology.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 260-440 of human DR5/TRAILR2/TNFRSF10B (NP_003833.4).
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily, and contains an intracellular death domain. This receptor can be activated by tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis inducing ligand (TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO-2L), and transduces an apoptosis signal. Studies with FADD-deficient mice suggested that FADD, a death domain containing adaptor protein, is required for the apoptosis mediated by this protein. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms and one non-coding transcript have been found for this gene.
