The TNF Receptor II Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19127) is a cutting-edge research tool designed for the study of TNF receptor II, a key player in the regulation of immune responses and inflammation. This antibody, developed using rabbit monoclonal technology, demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity in detecting TNF receptor II in human samples.TNF receptor II, also known as TNFRSF1B, is an important mediator of the TNF signaling pathway, which plays a central role in the immune system's response to infections and inflammatory diseases. By targeting TNF receptor II, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, cancer, and chronic inflammatory conditions.
This antibody is thoroughly validated for use in Western blot applications, enabling precise and reliable detection of TNF receptor II in different cell types and experimental settings. Its superior performance makes it an invaluable tool for researchers investigating the complex interplay between TNF receptor II and immune function, paving the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting this important pathway.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This protein and TNF-receptor 1 form a heterocomplex that mediates the recruitment of two anti-apoptotic proteins, c-IAP1 and c-IAP2, which possess E3 ubiquitin ligase activity. The function of IAPs in TNF-receptor signalling is unknown, however, c-IAP1 is thought to potentiate TNF-induced apoptosis by the ubiquitination and degradation of TNF-receptor-associated factor 2, which mediates anti-apoptotic signals. Knockout studies in mice also suggest a role of this protein in protecting neurons from apoptosis by stimulating antioxidative pathways.
