The TMEM150A Polyclonal Antibody (PACO60192) is a key tool for researchers studying TMEM150A, a transmembrane protein linked to immune regulation and cell signaling. This antibody, produced in rabbits, demonstrates high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in various applications, with a focus on Western blotting. By binding to the TMEM150A protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in diverse cell types, making it essential for investigations in immunology and cancer research.TMEM150A is known for its role in modulating immune responses and cellular functions, particularly in regulating signaling pathways involved in proliferation and survival.
Its importance in immune system regulation positions it as an important target for research into diseases such as cancer, autoimmune conditions, and inflammatory disorders. Understanding the mechanisms by which TMEM150A influences cellular processes is crucial for the development of novel therapies that manipulate immune responses in these pathological contexts.

Immunofluorescence staining of HepG2 cells with PACO60192 at 1:133, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).
Background:
Regulates localization of phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase (PI4K) to the plasma membrane, possibly by reducing the association of TTC7 (TTC7A or TTC7B) with the PI4K complex. Acts as a regulator of phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate (PtdIns(4)P) synthesis. May also play a role in fasting-induced catabolism (By similarity).
Synonyms:
Transmembrane protein 150A (Transmembrane protein 150), TMEM150A, TMEM150
UniProt Protein Function:
TMEM150A: Possible role in fasting-induced catabolism. Belongs to the DRAM/TMEM150 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Membrane protein, multi-passChromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2p11.2Cellular Component: integral to plasma membrane; lysosomeMolecular Function: protein bindingBiological Process: phosphoinositide phosphorylation
