Description
TLR7 Monoclonal Antibody [P4F4AT] (CPAB0549)
The TLR7 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0549) is an essential tool for researchers studying Toll-like Receptor 7 (TLR7), a key player in the innate immune system's recognition of viral infections. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards human TLR7, making it an invaluable reagent for Western blot applications.TLR7 is a pattern recognition receptor that senses single-stranded RNA from viruses and triggers immune responses to combat viral infections. Dysregulation of TLR7 signaling has been implicated in various autoimmune diseases and inflammatory conditions.
By targeting TLR7 with this antibody, researchers can investigate its role in immune responses and potentially develop new therapies for diseases such as lupus, arthritis, and viral infections. With its ability to specifically detect TLR7 protein expression in various cell types, the TLR7 Polyclonal Antibody is a valuable tool for advancing our understanding of immune responses and developing targeted treatments for immune-related disorders.

Background: | TLR7 belongs to the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family that plays a fundamental role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity. TLRs are highly conserved from Drosophila to humans and share structural and functional similarities. TLRs recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) which are expressed on infectious agents, and mediate the production of cytokines necessary for the development of effective immunity. The various TLRs exhibit different patterns of expression. TLR7 is principally expressed in lung, placenta, and spleen, and lies in close proximity to TLR8, on chromosome X. |
