Description
TLR2 Monoclonal Antibody [P1F10AT] (CPAB0551)
The TLR2 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0551) is a valuable tool for researchers studying toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2), an important receptor involved in the recognition of microbial pathogens and activation of the innate immune response. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific for TLR2 and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blotting and immunohistochemistry.TLR2 plays a crucial role in recognizing a wide range of microbial components, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi, and initiating the immune response against these pathogens. Dysregulation of TLR2 signaling has been implicated in various diseases, including infectious diseases, inflammatory disorders, and cancer.
Understanding the mechanisms underlying TLR2 activation and signaling is essential for developing novel therapeutic strategies targeting the immune response. The TLR2 Polyclonal Antibody (CPAB0551) allows for the detection and analysis of TLR2 expression in cells and tissues, making it a valuable tool for researchers investigating the role of TLR2 in immune responses, inflammation, and disease pathology. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an ideal choice for studies in immunology, infectious diseases, and cancer research.

Background: | TLR2 belongs to the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family that plays a fundamental role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity. TLRs are highly conserved from Drosophila to humans and share structural and functional similarities. They recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) which are expressed on infectious agents, and mediate the production of cytokines necessary for the development of effective immunity. The various TLRs exhibit different patterns of expression. TLR2 is expressed most abundantly in peripheral blood leukocytes, and mediates host response to Gram-positive bacteria and yeast via stimulation of NF-kappaB. |
