The Talin-1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB4158) is a valuable research tool for studying Talin-1, a critical protein involved in cell adhesion and migration processes. This antibody is produced in rabbits and demonstrates high reactivity with human samples, making it suitable for a variety of research applications, including Western blot analysis.Talin-1 is a key player in the regulation of cell adhesion and spreading, linking integrin receptors to the actin cytoskeleton within cells. Dysregulation of Talin-1 function has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular disorders, making it an important target for further investigation.
By using the Talin-1 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can effectively detect and analyze Talin-1 protein levels in different cell types, providing valuable insights into its role in cellular processes. This antibody is an essential tool for studies in cell biology, cancer research, and other fields where understanding Talin-1 function is crucial.

Recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-220 of human TLN1 (NP_006280.3).
This gene encodes a cytoskeletal protein that is concentrated in areas of cell-substratum and cell-cell contacts. The encoded protein plays a significant role in the assembly of actin filaments and in spreading and migration of various cell types, including fibroblasts and osteoclasts. It codistributes with integrins in the cell surface membrane in order to assist in the attachment of adherent cells to extracellular matrices and of lymphocytes to other cells. The N-terminus of this protein contains elements for localization to cell-extracellular matrix junctions. The C-terminus contains binding sites for proteins such as beta-1-integrin, actin, and vinculin.
